sunroof

it opened this morning , now its stuck ,its making the right noises but drivers side refuses to move.
is this a common problem, if so how do i fix it ?

In my 965 there is a mechanical mechanism that can be used to close it in the event motors/electric’s failing. Can't remember the details but should be in your manual.

Have you got a zip in the roof lining towards the rear screen? I think you can get in there to manually close the sunroof.

the roof is closed , i need to know why it won't open.

whatever you do don't try to force it !!
It sounds like one of the little catches has broken.
If you try to force it you risk breaking the other one, or possibly scratching the paint when it finally goes back but in the wrong place

Try posting to the appropriate forum at http://forums.rennlist.com where I expect you will get a reply.

The zip in the lining is to remove it, but since it's stuck closed that won't help you.

Sorry I can't help directly - its never happened to me - yet.
