Workshop stand recommendations

Bit more time on my hands so can start maintaining my bike myself a bit more and ride it more often too. Could do with a decent stand, don't want to pay a fortune and needs to be able to hold my frame (2001 mount vision => http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?...

The park ones used to be well regarded but not cheap, any recomendations? Tried the search function as i'm sure its been done before but its broken again. Much like my juicy 7s

The Feedback ones seem popular, and that includes within bike shops that don't even sell them! Says it all, really.

I've got a Park stand and it hold my GT i-drive on the seat post a treat.
It also folds down into a bag (a bit bulky) so I've taken it with me on a weekend.
The bonus for me was i didn't have to pay for it as they are pricey but i'd shell out for one.

The one at decathalon for £49.99 is a good stand. I bought one this weekend and I particularly like how the instructions are vague enough to say "If you cant put this together using these basic instructions then don't even bother trying to fix a bike"

The Lidl stand really is good, especially for the price.

I've got the Velo one (Decathlon). I chose it because it doesn't fold up and is therefore very strong and stable.

Another positive is that, because it doesn't fold up, it's always ready to use.

The downside is that it doesn't fold up.

I've got one of these http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Repair-Stand-for-Bicy... Very pleased with it and noticed that in store they were reduced to about £50 a week or two back. Don't know whether that offer is still running though

Another vote for the Velo stand. Can't remember where mine came from (Ribble?) but it's the same as the Decathlon one.

It's strong and stable, good value IMO.
