If you could...

Have any road bike in the world, which one would you go for?
I'm sure we all drool over the latest carbon fibre dream machines and wish we could afford them or use them as they were designed to. And by that, I don't meant a nice sunday run, pushing them and the rider to their limits. I know I couldn't come close but I can still dream.
I'm just wondering what road bike the PH mob think is the canine undercarriage.
Mine would probably be the Cannondale Supersix Evo Black.
Let the comments commence :-)

I think I'll need some time to ponder. And I may have more than one answer.
You mean you don't already have a list?? I'll take the Aston Martin One-77. Having picked one up I found it manageable. And to be fair I'm never going to ride one anyway so it can hang on the dining room wall.

I prefer more traditional looking frames with round, straight tubes so a Baum Coretto maybe

Oh my. That is perfection. Just lovely.
Easy ,Longstaff custom frame - Spirit with carbon rear and Enve forks
Campy Super Record EPS groupo
Campy Hyperon Ultra wheels
Brooks Swallow Ti sadle
Control Tech bars,stem and post
and finishing kit to suit
Anyone buying an off the shelf bike should go stand in a corner until you realise your folly
edits for whisky

I do love a "stealth" look, so my current favourites are:
Ribble R872

Pinarello Dogma in Nero Opaco

As far a road bikes go...I wouldn't change a thing on my current one.
but... if I was to build a TT bike then this is at the top of the list.

For me it would be a full custom bespoke frame.

Much more interesting than the latest bit of mass produced plastic that anyone can walk into a bike shop and buy off the shelf with their credit card

ummm to be all serious and boring, I would 100% hand on heart say a fitted one. (or my current bike!)
I have a pro level frame in the Ridley Helium, but what makes me love my bike so much (other than the carbon weave on view
) is that I had a cyclefit before hand, offered a bunch of frames which suited me and I picked this one. Spec-ed it up and 2 weeks later without even seeing it (bare in mind it is an integrated seat post so had to be cut), rode on it and it fitted like a glove! It is ridiculously comfortable to ride, even after 70+ miles, however long or short a ride is, I genuinely always look forward to riding the bike, yes it is a lovely bike but boy is it comfortable!!
Ditto wife, she went one further than me in getting a custom made carbon Guru after a cyclefit, same result in a bike that she says is unbelievable to ride, the fit I would say has made her quicker as with me.
