Anyone know anything about either the car, or said dealership? I keep telling myself that I don't need one of these in my life but I somehow can't convince myself, At 52k miles will it likely have a huge dervice coming up? How much are clutches on these approx?
Thanks in advance
Ian.

The "big" service is at 48K miles, so it looks like it was just done. Clutch isn't a huge expense (~ £500?) - they get quite heavy before they fail. I'd be more concerned about the state of the suspension, particularly the dampers which have been known to start leaking at as little as 20K miles.

It needs to have a proper PPI by someone who knows what to look out for. Buy a good one & you'll always smile on a drive smile

Hi Nick,

Clutches are around £1200 fitted plus vat.

That is so cheap I actually find it scary - where are these prices going to end up?

At 52k miles i would expect its had a full refresh most GT3s have had consumables done by about 40k.
Just check for work thats been done and get it checked out.
Yeah good price if all checks out ok. Only way can be up for future classic.
A fully refreshed car would be a better bet rather than mega low miles thats not had any work done which might be looming.
Only my humble opinion.
A full check is best advice.

Looking through their stock. It all seems reasonably priced. M3 cab 2009 at 31k. With just 22k miles. Seems a bargain. And 996t 46k miles 2002 at 26k.

Would be interesting to eat what level of prep the cars go through at these prices.

They sold my Boxster on sale or return. Very nice guys to deal with. All of their cars seem to be prepared to a high standard.

Hi Mike

Of course you are totally right. You can't even buy the parts for £500 laugh

It's funny how your memory changes the numbers downwards over time smile I had mine done as part of a LWFW conversion nearly 3 years ago & had somehow convinced myself that the whole thing had cost £1500. I've just looked up the invoice & it was actually closer to £3K.

Obviously this car is quite similar to the yellow clubsport at dove house & the black comfort at Paul Stephens.

Much lower miles on the PS car but it would be interesting to see how they all stacked up against each other.

No A/C on the Dovehouse car might be an issue for some.
