If on sale by an OPC I believe that the used car network would say `Club Sport Pack` by default, just from the cars VIN number.

They must have checked it out though if they're going to warrant it?

I can see the problem though cos that a bad shift as far as i understand.

The first one has been for sale for ever. Or rather it hasn't. It was sold to its new owner back in about April (a member on here) but for reasons unknown, has remained on here as showing for sale. I know nothing about the other one.

Here's the first one in my garage

I drove it yesterday and am pretty sure it's still there.

I've been asking PH and Porsche West London to take the ad down since I bought it in March but it seems to be beyond them to do it.

Goodness knows what they're playing at! I enquired about the black car in June/July this year. It was even printed in the OPCs little used car catalogue thing. I was told at the time that it had just been sold.

I hope you're enjoying the car!

Sorry about that smile

I think they only had the car for a few weeks before I bought it. I've put 5k on it in 7 months but it'll probably be going into hibernation soon when the temperature drops a bit more.

It's interesting hearing about the other cars in the market, range 5s, accident damage, 'adjusted mileage' etc. I guess they're no different to the 996 in that you need to know what you're looking at when buying one.

This one looks like a good bet:

Range 5 is 1100 rpm over limit IIRC so 7850rpm, these engines will not be damaged one iota by 7850rpm.

Thanks, it's mine and my favourite 911 to date (after 993 and 2 x 996 GT3) and I'll be sad to see this "keeper" go but moving abroad.

It doesnt seem to have the original ceramics so i'd imagine that is one reason why it should be quite a bit cheaper...

Assume that also means no OPC warranty then?

No OPC Warranty as brakes are not OEM. They are amazing cars and fairly rare in the UK, I think less than 60 997 GT2 uk supplied.

Yes thanks Jules - just watched a video of Plato ragging that car around Rockingham. Best avoided!

This +1.

Rev Range's on these are completely different to GT3's, as the turbo cars have lower rev limiters to start off with.
