Possible redundancy looms, I should find out if my department will be being outsourced within the next couple weeks and I'll be taking VR if offered.
I quite like the idea of a driving job. From a delivery van to delivering Ferrari's I'm interested in either or and anything inbetween. How possible is it to find a job like this and does anybody have any information about where I would enquire, ringing up the local VW garage and asking if they need somebody to drive cars doesn't strike me as a good idea

how old are you, and where are you based.
i'd google local transport firms, and see if any have vans in their fleet, could be worth going along with a c.v. or see if you can get a chat with a the gaffer.
lots of scope, you could do anything from local multidrop work, (not for me) or long distance european hot shot type work.

I do 10 hours a week driving for a private school. I work for them full time doing another job, but there are a few guys who just do some driving as a standalone thing; anything from 5 hours per week to nearly full time. Pay isn't that great - about £10/hour, but in my case it is a handy bit of extra money.
Sounds like a nice litter earner, although this wouldn't be suitable for me. I'd guess there is special insurance required and a nice car

Postie?
Just under £10 hour, 5 day week, 5-6 weeks holiday and bank holidays off.
My best friend, his brother, another good friend from school are all posties. Absolutely brilliant job, they all love it. Another friend has an interview now from their advice Just under £10 hour, 5 day week, 5-6 weeks holiday and bank holidays off.

Again, not for me
