I have done a bit of reading, seems better than water at transfering heat so it will help keep coolant temps lower, and it cant boil so you will never get the associated bubbles or gas, hence still transfering heat better at higher temps.
It seem the only downside is having to carry and emergency bottle of it with you everywhere, as its not bound to be sold in service stations.

So its just pure antifreze then Jeff?..
I thought water had better heat transfer properties than antifreeze? it think it must have something else added to it, i must do some more reading, they definitely say to not add with water, but like you say Jeff antifreeze mixes with water just fine..lol

NPG stands for non-aqueous propylene glycol. Non-aqueous just means "without water".

Water is a better coolant because if its higher heat capacity and thermal conductivity.

Rather than scan my CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, I'm going to point to an engineering web site for heat capacity and thermal conductivity data:

The heat capacity of water is 1 BTU per pound degree F. If you asked 1 pound of water to absorb 100 BTU of heat energy from the engine, the water temp would rise by 100 degrees F.
The heat capacity of propylene glycol is 0.60 BTU per pound degree F. If you asked 1 pound of NPG to absorb 100 BTU of heat energy from the engine, the NPG temp would rise by 167 degrees F! Do you see why Evans wants you to run a bigger pump and larger lines?

Let's look at thermal conductivity. A higher number means the liquid is a good conductor. A lower number means the liquid is a good insulator. I want my coolant to be a good conductor so that heat absorbed from the water passage walls in the block and heads gets quickly transferred to the bulk coolant that is not next to the wall.
