Really pleased with these, hasn't wrecked the ride, just firmed it up a little, lowered it to approx RS spec, and gone lower if i want to, had it done at Autofarm, best part was the test ride after set up ! Next spend = driver training anyone got any recommendations ? and some spacers for the rear wheels, 15mm ? any views ?

If you're in the southeast you might want to join in on the monthly Rennlist 964 meets, 15 to 30 depending on weather usually. A lot of information from the owners. Your car looks nice BTW.

Get some cup wheels and hang the expense!

Maybe copies even?

Driver training - CATDT (CAT Driver Training). I spent a day with them at Millbrook and it was the best money I have spent on my 993 to date!

+1 on Rennlist, get yourself registered on there, much more 964 based traffic on there than here. It's a bit of a trek from Northamptonshire, but well worth the effort, they're a great bunch of lads and lasses.

Stick with the 16" wheels, they're becoming something of a style icon on '64s these days. With spacers they'll look fine. With your recent suspension upgrades, you'll you get the best of both worlds, decent ride courtesy of the taller sidewalls and sharper handling due to the H&Rs.

Spacers with D90's?

I've just picked up a set of D90's to replace the Cup2's currently fitted - but have never considered spacers, but this has me wondering now.... Is it a worthwhile mod?

I've got some in a bag in the garage... But you may need to get longer studs cos they are the slip on type.

D90s are also very light, switch to Cups (especially copies) and some of the magic in the steering will go missing.

Spacers will make it look meaner, which I think is a good thing.

I'm sticking with my D90s......to be honest, I look the look of them and the feel of the steering is, IMHO, one of the great features of these cars.

On the Rennlist forum, I've registered and if there is nothing more local looks like I'll have to join in one of the jaunts, is the next one 4th November ?
