Zelda, Ocarina of Time on N64

I had Zelda once on my N64 when I was really young and for me it's still the best game ever released and I'm really tempted to buy it again.

I know this is going to seem like a really stupid question, but what will the graphics come out like on a 42" TV, will it be all stretched and bad quality or will it be okay?

Ask the people across the road if you can sit in their front room and play it (with the big TV in your front room).

Or, if you wear glasses, take them off and play it.

I think that if you saw the game on that TV when it first came out you would think it was fine. You may think it looks rubbish now though, try it and see, it's subjective.

Do you have a decent enough PC? You could run it through an emulator with much nicer graphics.

My PC can't run games, it's way too slow.

The only reason I asked is because my TV is in my room, and I only sit about two metres away from the screen. I might just bite the bullet and hope for the best.

Ive got a 50 something inch pioneer and i did exactly this a while back. It looked bloody awful.

Buy a 3Ds and play it on that? I've got it, it's absolutely amazing ; )

That must be like having cheap laser surgery done, can't you just knock through into the next room?

You'll be able to change your TV's format if it does get stretched surely?
