How do I convert my headlights so I can drive legally in Europe. I have a 04 996 GT3 with hid. Or is it ok as it is.
I can't find any info about this.

Whenever I've been it's been in older stuff so I've had to stick the beam convertors on my lights, however I'm sure I read once that 996 lights have a switch on them somewhere to flick between LHD and RHD spec.

I may be wrong but google it. smile

ETA - Beat me to it.

Its a 10 minute job. Tool is in the tool kit to remove the lamp unit, couple of screws takes the rear of the unit off and then twist the little plastic hex to the alternate position.

Simples...

Just make damn sure you get the latch to engage again on refitting otherwise the lights will fly out the first time you hit the middle pedal hard!
