Driving Test - The Quickest Way
Discussion
Just looking for some advice. My girlfriend ideally needs to pass a driving test pronto being a medical student and not being bothered about driving makes the process too long as we have been there already (does driving tests then stops)
Does anybody have any advice or know of any companies in Scotland (preferably Edinburgh or Dundee) who do any type of guaranteed past scheme over a week or so.
I have taken her out in my car but I agree with her that a 2001 Clio Dci isn't a great car to learn in. I'm tempted to sell just so we can get a small petrol to use instead as this is probably the most sensible option especially from a price point of view but looking to see if any companies etc do exist or what other options are out there?
Thanks

Not sure if they do a guaranteed pass thing, but think they do the intensive one week things.

Out of interest why do you think your diesel is unsuitable?
My instructor had an escort diesel many moons ago. Can't recall now but he favoured it over a petrol for teaching in. Think it was because it was less of an issue being in the wrong gear as the torque curve was flat. Also, she'll learn better clutch control moving off as you can't get away with slipping the clutch so much before a stall...
Edit; you considered just hiring a dual control car by the hour a few evenings a week instead of selling?
