"Stars in reasonably different cars"
Ok, back with some photo's of drivers not in their usual machinery, either test driving or having their first F1 experience. Have a go there are some tough ones and some easy one to get you thinking, I'll give the answers tommorow.
PS, there are a couple of "ringers" in there, drivers not in their usual lid
But before those, here's an odd one for you, the year is 1986, the car is a Ferrari, but who's the driver?

I think...
1 - Mansell
2 ?
3 - Colin Mc Rae
4 - Dario Franchitti
8 - Gilles Villeneuve
10 - Jamie Davies
11 - Roberto Moeno?
12 - Prost (Think he's wearing someone else's helmet?) That or it Eric Comas?
13 - Kelvin Burt?
17 Ralf Firman
I'll come back to the others
1 - might be johansson borrowing a helmet...Nige was at williams in '86 and drove only 27 and 2 during his ferrari days. uless its a test in late 87 but i doubt it...
2 - Alain Menu
5 - Darren Turner?
6 - David Brabham
14 - Phillipe Alliot?
16 - Ralf Schumacher
Getting close.
Of all the answers so far the only ones not correct from anyone are 7, 9, 12 & 14.
Few clues needed for those maybe.
7 - Brother to a racing sister from a family run team. Got the Williams test for winning a certain engine manufacturers series title
9 - Gaellic driver now plys his trade in Sports Cars, former French F3 Champion, Porsche Supercup Champion.
12 - The real tester, he's one of the five Pacific drivers mentioned on here, process of elimiation. http://f1rejects.com/hall/olympics/
14 - Think former BTCC Champion.
But can anyone get the right 17
