Blizzard of Ozz

Just bought this on iTunes having lost my cassette years ago. Really disappointing, Ozzy is totally flat the whole way through, it sounds awful and ruins an otherwise amazing album.

Did the same a while back, listened to it on Spotify after loosing my copy years ago. It's dated pretty badly!

I disagree gentlemen. BoO is the best ozzy album of them all imho. Ozzy vocals are ozzy vocals, simple as. The tracks on this album, and Randy's guitar playing, make this a classic, with tracks like Mr Crowley, Crazy Train and Steal Away.

One or two fillers however - Goodbye to Romance and No Bone Movies spring to mind.

Never been a big fan of BoO, most probably because I heard Tribute before I heard Blizzard of Ozz, and the Blizzard songs sound better to me on Tribute. So does the quality of the recording.

Diary of a Madman has always been my favourite of the to Randy Rhoads studio albums.
