Would fitting CCC cans affect how many miles to the gallon you would get put of your car?

Probably.....

because you'll want to mess with the loud pedal more

Seriously though, I don't see why it should.

Didn't affect mine at all (other than for flooring it a lot more to hear the noise).

Think the de-cat might have adversely affected consumption though. Or that could be the new ECU. Or the fact I'm not nursing a broken engine anymore. Or that the throttle's sticking open...

Don't worry about miles to the gallon - just enjoy your Tuscan.

LOL - never noticed any difference...but to be honest it dosent matter anyway

unless you drive 30K miles a year and have the option of using a 5L Griff or a Citroen AX diesel that is

fuel is the cheapest part of car ownership

just do the maths - if you avg 10K miles a year (not many Tuscan owners do that judging by the rebuild thread!) and drop down on avg 5mpg...whats it cost you - a fiver a week or something ?

I saw them at gorners whem they first came out and they wanted something like 295 plus vat. Phoned the company (blueflame) direct some time later and they quoted circa 600.

look nice dont know how they sound ... if good 295 is ok no way 600

£600???

Think it was about £200 or so for the polished CCC ones, more if I'd wanted any of the more "colourful" cans.

No point having it go round corners quickly only to have it sound like a wet fart. And vice-versa...

Yup me too!

What a fantastic day today, got up early and thrapped the titties off it on the way to work, enjoyed it so much I did it again on the way home.

The Nitrons make a huge difference and the cans just encourage you to drive that bit harder....

Sometimes a sunny day and a TVR is all you need to make life seem good
