Looks like the 'costs' are being pursued with greater vigour under the new contacts ?

The basic contracts usually find a way to squeeze more revenue/profit in smile

Can you blame the HA as it cuts costs to the public, then the private sector squeezes those who it considers liable for causing the damage a 'pay & play' approach.

Ah the Nurburgring principle. In that case we should be allowed to go as fast as we like on motorways.

Before the usual suspects emerge from the woodwork and start foaming at the mouth, the above comment is in jest.

So if your car breaks down with an electrical fault it makes sense to get a record of it.

Presumably if they're making false claims it's some form of fraud?

+1; but they'll dishing out demands for non payment, probably no appeal process.

It'll come down to your word, vs a report from 'expert' about the 'damage' you've caused.

The only thing I can see you can do to protect yourself, would be to take photos of any kind of incident where you have authorities/possible contact with or damage too road/street furniture involved.
