porsche 111 point check
Discussion
mmm.....I bought my RS from an OPC that had undergone a 111 point check. I had an independant inspection carried out (Peter Morgan) who found a few issues that had not been identified/addressed by the 111 point check. To be fair, the OPC did all the remedial work once the issues were raised with them. I suppose it depends upon the diligence of the person carrying out the 111 point check?

... am I pretty much guaranteed its a good car if it passes this check?
No guarantee. It's a bit like an MOT... a snapshot test of 111 specific things. It won't check for previous accident damage, for example.mrdemon said:
.. but at least if it passes you can buy a porsche warranty for the car ...
But be aware that you have to own the car for 90 days before you can get the OPC warranty, at which point you'll need another check - and everything on the car will need to be standard - i.e. no non-porsche battery etc..Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
