Very sad news, RIP Mr H.

I don't know why but I assumed this car at Malton was Jons, looks very similar but not sure on the mods side of things. Is it a carbon copy or is it his up for sale?

RIP, as a woodworker myself I just checked his website. Looked like he did lovely stuff, and like my business, his was family run.
I should imagine this is a terrible time for them all.
Very sad.

Met him at Vmax once, when he'd just got that monster Porsche of his running. Took the time to show a complete stranger around his car - a genuinely nice bloke.

Wow, what sad news. I never met him in person but he took the time to offer advice through this forum when I was getting my engine rebuilt. I always followed his contributions on here with interest. Seemed like a genuine enthusiast and all round good guy.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear of this news. Still in shock. I never met the guy but we corresponded a bit via emails. Always such a nice guy and ever so generous. Offered me the loan of his car (not the 911) when I needed to transport mine around to get work done. What a great guy who always seemed to be living life to the fullest.

Very sad to hear, and very much too soon. He certainly seemed to have passion for everything, and its nice to know he made the most of the time he had.
