Hi guys just bought a tvr s 1.5 2.9 engine oz wheels met blue 1989 3rd run out Rac brought me home suspect ignition module on distributor the one with the broken bolts lol ggggrrr bought a Granada one to replace so fingers crossed but still loving that sound when it runs good replacement for unused motorbike I think getting older and hopefully wiser great site guys and loads of cracking info thanks to all ..rob

On the positive side these are generally reliable cars so once the few niggles are overcome you ought to be able to look forward to a lot of fun.

I think part of the issue sometimes is that previous owners didn't use them enough, I know that's the case with mine and the few little niggles I had when I first got it seem to be behind me (fingers firmly crossed).

Thanks glad to be part of it hope I can add a little info to things as we go along and yes I think lack of use may well e part of the problem my car has only done 300 miles in 4 years by previous owner so I could be in for some fun lol

Taking mine tonight for its first MOT , in my ownership, having bought with 12 months ticket supplied by previous owner.
Am quaking in my boots, have checked all I can but still nervous.
First year 1500 miles only as had to finish restoration of my MGB and get that sold, so this year will be a bit more out there fun hopefully.
Plus get down to tidying and refitting all the boxes of bits that came with it.
