Hi all, seen this: http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/uk/clients.show_ca...

Looks too cheap for the options listed comparing with other OPC cars of a similar age/mileage.

As the ad doesn't list buckets (which it has) and also doesn't appear to price in the ceramics, my thoughts are this is a press vehicle...

Marmite colour?

Thoughts?

No radio, lightweight battery, no a/c (?)

Colour is spot on for this car, IMO.

Mr demon - your GT3 replacement's here!

And, that looks bloody cheap.....these CR's, plummeting fast wink

There was a thread on this specific car before and I think the consensus was that it is indeed the ex press car. Not sure how much that is really a risk. No worse than ex demonstrator I suppose. It has been sitting with them at least a month and I think the price is a bit lower still than it first was.

Peridot Green is common enough that if you like it (and I do) then go for it. I don't see it as being too different come resale. Looking to get one myself about 6 monts from now.

it is THE press car that car all the rave reviews from autocar and autocar of the year.......

no doubt the car has been properly used. Every lightweight option is specified/ or heavy items deleted

Yep, press car, interestingly though they previously mentioned it was, but have now removed that from the description (bit naughty)

I Must be looking at a different car. The one that the link provided takes me to has A/C and Bose, with no mention of a lightweight battery. In fact it is a very high spec car.

My money would be on this one out of preference: http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/uk/clients.show_ca...

+1 Was looking at that car the other day myself (online). Nice looking motor that.

The Colchester car used to say it was ex-press fleet on the ad (as mentioned above) and has been there for a couple of months now I reckon. With a 2 year warranty I wouldn't be too worried by all the abuse, but that spec is a bit meagre for me.

Wrong wheels, wrong seats! Personal choice though.

Looks a great car IMO, if i hadn't already bought (a Boxster) I'd have been tempted by that.

Apparently, he doesn't like his GT3 as a daily so mentioned having a CR.

I was in no way suggesting a CR is a direct like for like car with a GT3....
Heaven forbid!

Can't have the GT3 boyz getting uppity wink

Certainly not. We're a very sensitive bunch.

I remember that car, very good value at the time, it was at cameron sports cars if I recall correctly.

not really a nice car to go with my lightwight Spyder as a daily.
I WOULD want AC in a coupe also. cars been for sale quite a while but has just had a drop, going to be a hard sell imo and not for me.

which as I have a Spyder for summer it would a winter hack. so would want some toys to play with, other wise I might as well keep the GT3 with it's AC
