Just got back from this and all I can say is WOW!

What a brilliant concept. Free entry and just a select few manufacturers showing off their finest goods.

I could easily have spent almost a million quid without trying!

Highlights for me:

Jaguar R Coupe concept - Looked gorgeous in it's new coat of BRG. Note to Jaguar...BUILD THIS CAR!

Aston Martin Vanquish - Oh my. Another stunning car from Ian Callum. Finished in a lovely green, made a change from gunmetal grey. Even made the DB7 next to it look a little under-nourished. Liked the James Bond music being piped in near by too...

Pagani Zonda - Photos don't do it justice. The detailing is just superb (so it should be for £298K!)

Ferrari 575M - I'll have one of those as well please.
Thank gawd it was in blue and not red. Made the new Lambo Merky Largo look a little plane. Such a classy motor.

Merc SL55 AMG - Never thought I'd ever want a Merc, but I'll add this to my shopping list too.

It closes tomorrow, but if you're near Docklands, go see it.

Got myself a new camera and managed to get some good shots at motorexpo. I thought the Lambo looked a bit dull in grey and much prefer it in yellow. The Zonda however is a different story, very tasty whatever colour. If you follow the link i think the next nineteen or so photos are mine- look for alexr.
By the way the, i spotted the Smart outside the south colonades near where i work and noticed the Brabus touch.
After a quick q&a with the smart dealer ilearned that it can do 110mph, generating 80bhp and the owner paid 11k for the original car and then a further 5k for brabus to beef it up. Not that i'm a fan of smarts in the least, interesting all the same though.

Wasn't too bad bearing in mind that it was free.

I was a bit miffed because I went there to see the Tuscan R. Talking to the TVR center chaps, they said that BS had taken it to LeMans (I went there on Friday lunchtime).

Nice to see the Lambo in the flesh (albeit not a very striking colour).

Good fun to watch the 'city boys' fiddling with the TVR doors wondering how to open them
