Thought it may be of interest to a few of you - no pics of the cabin sadly.

Nice scoop go get the two side-by-side, looks to me like the same subtle evolution programme. But I guess it is what will be under the skin that might provide the big changes...

The wider track gives the front a more aggressive look but the rear looks a bit apolojetic. I though GT3s were about big wings. Having said that, the only reason I cannot have a GT3 is because of the rear wing. I should send this picture to my other half!

I love the front of the car, but yes, the rear is much more subtle - though I wonder if perhaps a bigger wing might be an option somehow? Best of both worlds then for those of us with other halves who find big spoilers 'chavvy'.

yes Every time I see a 991, in whatever guise, I find myself liking earlier 911s (997 & 996 included) more and more. 991 looks too big, too 'wagon-wheels' and too GT for me. IMHO it was also a massive missed-opportunity to do something new, fresh and radical with the 911 concept.

This is the best looking GT3 to date. Looks and sounds awesome and goes like stink on the ring videos with the wonderful PDK box.

The great thing about the adjustable spoiler is it looks subtle at low speeds but then raises to full GT3 spoiler height when reaching legal speeds.

Place your order boys - this is THE 911 to have.

How fickle you lot are ! hehe

Hardly seems fair comparing an "old" 997 GT3 to the very latest version. So lets compare apples with apples eh ?

The rear bumper is still disguised on the later car, so hopefully it'll look better when you can see the venting arrangements. I'd like to think that's sorry looking appendage isn't an excuse for a rear wing . . . .

Just like the 7.2 but adjustable.

I thought that spoiler was part of the prototype disguise. When I saw that they'd released it as part of the aerokit, I was somewhat bemused. Still am every time I see photos of it.

997 looks better, in fact I would go as far to say I prefer the 997 over the 991 full stop.

the front looks a lot better to me than any 997 .. less fussy, bigger more purposeful openings and I love the pointy headlights and how they appear to pinch inwards

rear is a complete letdown although I doubt that's th finished thing

But is it just that, an illusion ?

Lot's of tape disguising the outer vents and the one/s beneath the engine cover/rear bumper shutline. Reckon it'll look good when it's finally exposed.

Thing is, if this is just a diddy wing for disguise and they're testing it like this, does that not mean the wing does pretty much squat?

Maybe saving an actual wing for the RS?

Nope - that's the actual wing......similar to the carrera aerokit cup one.
