Holy Moma!

Have you seen Petter's Car? What on earth did he manage to do?

I've just got the picture here on the WRC newsletter and his car is a complete write-off. It's not car shaped, at all! There's no boot, the roof isn't flat and is listing hard to the right.

they are both ok, but by God they are lucky!

I watched some of this on ITV. It was one of several big, big crashes. Amazing how robust those cars are.

They really need to do something about the stages on day 2. Two years in a row Solberg as whacked one of the large lumps of concrete called hinkelstones.
I'm surprised no ones been seriously injured by the damn things

thats true, but the interview with the Subaru principal pointed out that in Austraila they race very close to tree's, in Monte Carlo they are racing on snow and ice using Slick road tyres...

The WRC is meant to take in every possible type of surface condition and in reality they shouldn't be near the stones, it was just yesterday the conditions weren't good enough for Solberg to push as hard as he was.
