Someone must have an answer?
Need to refit the airbox today and use car later.
I guess it would be the same on a regular 996 not just the Turbo.
You need to leave it in - it is important. You can try and glue it. If you need a replacement airbox complete let me know as we have loads available from converting to y-pipes.Need to refit the airbox today and use car later.

Hi Ken
Yes have now glued it in and located it in the correct position.
Do you think it could have been the cause of ABS and PSM lights on at max boost?
Also may be have been a little over rich,(black exhaust tail trims)
It depends on where it lands - I have seen ones that break and then block the air way half way, so you only get 1/2 boost and that triggers ABS etc. Yes have now glued it in and located it in the correct position.

ABS/PSM only at Max boost tends in our experience to be vacumn leak more than anything. Normally this is located turbo to intercooler - I am not talking a large escape either. You would hear a very small whine occasionally on boost before 4k rpm. This only applies if we are taking ABS/PSM issues when you are on max boost.
