Next Spring's Budget
Discussion
So this year I had the suspension rebuilt at a cost of over 3k, next spring I'm going to get the wheels and front bumper attended to after 6 years and 25k of driving.
From a few feet away it's incredibly smooth, unblemished and perfect. But I see when polishing it there's a bit of road rash behind the wheels and there are the occasional little chips here and there on the wings plus a tiny little scratch on the passenger door.
What's the best approach? Leave them as "patina" on a genuine car that's not been kept in a bubble all its life?
Or drop it around to my main dealer or perhaps someone like that place behind Porsche HQ for a comprehensive restoration wherever needed?
If I went Cambridge OPC for the kind of prep they'd do with a showroom car, what kind of bucks might I expect?
How about from that specialist behind HQ?
Obviously I'll ask the players for sure but just interested.

Hi supermono, if you are talking HQ (as in Reading) Specialsed Paintwork SM

I've had two bumper resprays front and back and they are flawless
