Somebody here may have some tech info about the regulations concerning engine builds. I assume bore/stroke/crank must remain as standard but what about pistons, cams, valves and heads etc.

Can anybody suggest a place where I can find this information, thanks.

im not sure off the top of my head but the easiest thing to do is to go to either the fia or ACO websites and im sure they will have info there, if not ill try find out at work on monday for you

bore and stroke have to stay the same you are correct, however the crank can be reproduced as long as it is the same dimensions as the original (but can be knife edged etc) . cylinder heads and camshafts can be reworked to produce more power, obviously these are just the basics of a race engine and are common to most GT series, however many series have different sets of rule (restrictors etc) so to get the precise rule for the engine design for the category you are entering then you need to find the rules by the governing body.
