C4S convertible - but high mileage...
Discussion
I'm tempted for a change and stumbled across this beauty : http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...
I am liking most of it but not sure about the mileage... I'm also not sure how a convertible would handle and if the N/A have sufficient poke but I guess that's easily sorted with a test drive.
However, before booking a test drive I wish to seek advise of more experienced people here...what do you reckon ?
I currently have a GTR which I adore but I can't help being overly OCD about the car... fearing every second that something might break if I push it too hard. As an example I've just changed the fronts with OEM tyres costing a grand even though strictly speaking there's still 2-3 months life left in it before reaching legal limits...
edit : If I do go for a test drive, what questions should I be asking?

The mileage is the reason it is sub £45k. If you want one with lower mileage just pay more and there are plenty of candidates - especially in the OPC network that also have warranties.
Personally it wouldn't bother me. I do low mileage so over time it would probably even out somewhat. If you're going to do highish miles and look to move it on in a couple of years it could be expensive.

I am leaning this way also!
On the (very) upside, I would also suggest that any 'issues' will have been shaken out at that usage and mileage.
And one hell of a great looking car (IMO)
Drive it first and make sure that it feels quick enough - be warned though, it may not! And then look at the speedo
#Thanks for the input so far lads! As I have very little knowledge of Porks (except admire how the good the 997s look in the metal!) I though I'd do some research before booking a test drive to minimise chances of wasting the dealer's time.
I've heard a C2S (could be a C4S...) and it does sound good for an N/A...just not sure if it'll have enough poke. How is it maintenance wise? Should I just save up for the 997.2 Tubby? The reason why I like gen 2 is because of those awesome rear LED lights... childish I know :P The 997.2 Turbo (or Turbo S) is perfect but they are all over 80k...
