When I bought my car a couple of years ago it was running on (as new) after-market, split rim alloys. The vendor also had the original OZ Racing wheels that had been on the car for 12 years or so, which were included in the sale.

I was wondering what, if any, problems there might be in refurbishing OZ wheels - due to their apparent complexity.

If anyone in TVRland has recently had this work done, I'd be most appreciative if they could give me an idea of the cost - after all they do look so bl**dy good!.

Thanks ... Chris

why would the OZ wheels be any more difficult to refurbish than any other wheels ?

btw with courier costs being so cheap these days its very easy to send wheels to the best of places for this sort of work.
And as such i can wholeheartedly recommend http://www.alloyrefurb.net/Pages/default.aspx - ive had several sets of wheels done by Steve from APS and know of a whole lot more happy customers too. (highly recommended on the s.wales page on here too)

'cos they're made from three pieces (four if you count the hub cap), have different finishes on different parts, and each is held together with about thirty non-standard bolts with 11-point heads or something equally ridiculous (see my profile pic). Apart from that, no problem...
