DC3 Dakota? Over Uckfield

Just seen what I beleive was a Dakota fly leisurely over Uckfield, East Sussex. It didn't look military however, it appeared to be aluminium with a yellow tail fin. Anyone know this aircraft, or if indeed it was actually a DC3/C47?

Pretty thing though and sounded lovely
