Discussion
Hello
After a favor, please could you have a read through my wife's C.V and offer any critique, she is currently working as a Field Sales Exec and is applying for the position of National Account Manager within the same industry. She has been on Maternity leave for eight months in 2010 and from January 2012 to present but is not sure if or how to mention this?
Please excuse the formatting as it was a text dump from Word and also personal details have been replaced with XXXs

While I'm waiting...
Drop DoB
Intro should be written in third person (use first person for covering letter)
Last sentence in intro will need evidencing
Need some figures in claims; improvements in profits/sles etc
Year out travelling-if you mention it, turn it in to an opportunity; where did you go, what did you do, did you gain any new skills or insights?
Re education; show two levels only. So if you have a Bachelors, drop GCSEs
Re working longs days; could suggest poor time management or lack of competencies
Hope that helps a little

If you're a good sales person then:
- % of target achieved
- value of sales
- target margin vs sold margin
- average deal size
- new accounts opened etc etc
Anyone can write a list of sales duties.
She did have all of those in there but as she has been on maternity leave twice the figures were from 2009 and 2011 so she was not sure if it would look odd not showing more current figures???- % of target achieved

Rog, I know this sounds incredibly cheeky, but do you mind me pinging you a quick email when I get the chance for some guidance? I'm in a bit of a rut at present and could do with a quick bit of advice.Do include measures of impact where it is available. Good luck!
I hope the OPs Mrs has some good offers after the revamp.

Also, should read 'working OFF my own initiative'. I realise they're only little things, but still.
