...should be 10 days or so. The reason I'm excited about it (apart from its a new 911) is it has the powerkit fitted.

Will post pictures and thoughts as soon as it arrives.

Thanks

Powerkit you say... very interested in what you think about that.

I think GT Silver is a great colour, I just wasn't prepared to pay the extra. Very interested to know what you think of the Powerkit, if you want to swap cars for a weekend to compare (mines a boggo 991S) then let me know, you will have to fork out for expenses though.

Thats very kind of you, I have driven a standard one a couple of times and have to say it felt quick (had a 997 GTS previously) i very interested to see how different the PK version feels.

Will post feedback as soon as it arrives.

Is it special order? As in more expensive? What is the regular silver called - Arctic is it? And what's the difference? I seem to recall gt may be slightly darker if that's the right word.

£108,000......

st a brick!

My 996t X50 was 'only' £114,00 back in 2003, so I guess yours is a veritable bargain...

Congrats, anyway.
I wouldn't be able to sleep for the next 10 days!

Just out of interest, why? (I assume daily driver).

I'm currently looking for a 997 and instantly rule out any car with a rear wiper as I think it ruins the looks of the back end - obviously this is a personal thing but my last coupe didn't have one and didn't need it as the wind cleared any rain...

Glad you went for the Sports Seats, anything with standard seats is also discounted immediately - why do people not spec sports seats on a sports car? There's a world of difference to them!

Anyway, congrats on the purchase, hope it makes you smile everyday!

Just always had them, not really thought about it, i think they look odd without, like something is missing.

Power kit? The 991S is already powerful enough for the roads round here. But MORE power? Ya cannae change tha laws ae physics.

Look forward to that and remember the offer is always there!! There are a few of us who went GTS to 991, it's a very different car and builds speed without too much drama, God knows what the powerkit will do. I'm sure time is slowing right now, but worth the wait.

That is a serious understatement. Like you I went GTS to 991 and I'm constantly impressed how a less powerful car can, not just feel, but be that much faster. I fear for Turbo owners who may need to tick the (presumably HSE-mandated) breathing apparatus and gravity suit options.
