Loaded the Sunny with beer and a few family and mates (just the seventeen of us), pulled up Friday night and the fellow in the little sailing boat looked scared.

Doing the right thing I popped over and asked if he minded us being a bit loud what with skiboats and jetribs buzzing about.
No problem he says, fill your boots. He shouldn't really have worried as we just had a quiet session.

Woke up and he was still there so I guess he didn't mind.

All seemed well until a mob arrived, tied up and we did lunch.

Well as it turned out quite a long lunch really.

Sunday was a bit of a blur really but tee'd up with alcohol induced bravado some of them decided to show off.

Before completely forgetting that a wakeskate has no bindings.

I preferred to stay aboard and nurse my head with gin till the sun went down on an epic session.

The little sailing boat I hear you ask. Not a bloody clue where or when he left. confused

Bloody hooligans. Good job his boat is too fat to get anywhere near me on the River Quiet!

Don't worry I shall bring the Revenger when Bacardi and I visit.

8.2l of straight through V8 exhaust coupled with 1800 watts of stereo, a 78 bottle freezer chest and Bacardi's hostesses should liven you lot up a bit.

Anchoring etiquette? For me it's usually cruise around the anchorage until I find a suitable boat with power winch and a good BBQ on the back and moor up alongside (don't like pulling anchor up by hand or cleaning BBQ's)

Sorry about that there were no hookers, drugs or room to fight, I thought you would have felt uncomfortable. blah

Nice to see the Lifejacket Preservation Society doing their best to keep as many Jackets safe and dry as possible :-)

FWIW We've had two floaters in the town harbour this summer already...

eek

Damn good reason to insist on holding tanks or refuse entry in my opinion.

I wouldn't have waited 'till the morning. If there was no wind to sail off the anchorage I'd use every last bit of my 5HP to get out of there pronto. wink
