Dad says the only reason I can't have a go is because the seat doesn't go up or forward any further than this, I'm sure it will, won't it? I can see the Steering wheel adjuster wink

Where can I buy 10 years of life from just for an hour, then I'll go back to being 9 years old, with the biggest smile.

Be patient, your day will eventually come and I dare say quicker than mine, mine didn't come until my 60th Birthday :-)

Ha ha - reminds when I was a bit older and my dad said I was not allowed to drive his company car (which were all nice) until I was 25!

Unfortunately one of his colleagues dropped him in it and said I was insured! He had to back down then!

Your grammar & spelling is putting a lot of adults on this site to shame.

Thank you, Dad says I should be grateful for the colour co-ordinated booster seat, which I am and he does take me out a lot, although much like the Scalextric (scale version of Spa or so he says) I'm not sure its entirely for my benefit, anyway, school tomorrow, sleep time, Porsche dreams smile

I'm sure Dad will run you to school I'm the morning, roof down wink

Do what I did at your age, beg, beg, and beg a bit more to drive. He may even let you sit on his lap and let you have a go tongue out
I started driving properly (on private land) at 10! Hopefully it won't be long till you're behind the wheel!

Nice history of cars you have there, young man.

You sure this is not 'Dad' posting here, for some odd reason? wink

Just a bit of fun, the posting's are by Dad but the sentiments are most definitely Sam's, I was the same as him many moons ago except it was a Ford Capri 2.0 S times change but the fun and excitement continues.

Don't do it. My old man used to sit me on his knee and let me steer the car up the road we used to live in. Fairly straight and about three quarters of a mile long. I was probably about 4 or 5 years of age. When I was born we lived in a flat above a second hand car showroom and from the age that I could walk I'd be in and out of all the cars on the lot. My mum still swears those exhaust fumes poisoned my brain and led to my complete petrol head addiction. The first word I ever spoke was Car. Not Mum or Dad. Beware
