Just a quick reminder this Sunday sees the annual Porsche Club, North East Region show which for the first time is being held on the show field at Beamish Museum.

A discounted entrance fee of £5 per head for those arriving in a Porsche vehicle represents tremendous value as it gives access to all the museum attractions for the day. There will be a show and shine competition entry available on the day sponsored by Specialist cars Malton.

Gates open from 9.30 am, please note entry is via the gate to the show field which is reached by turning left at the main entrance and following the lane for about a mile. Weather forecast looks good too

Many thanks to the R3 organisers here and to Beamish Museum. Fantastic day, and a great venue for this event. Must have had around 100 cars here today. Really enjoyed it. Hope Beamish can become the regular home for this event for a few years. Thanks also to Specialist Cars of Malton for their support. A few photos below (I hope...):

Yep, not a bad little event. I was there in my neighbours Boxster Spyder with two white Cayman R's.

Not loads to do but that's static shows for you I suppose. Had a nice sunday lunch in Beamish though and bought a load of sweets from the old sweet shop. Lovely. smile

Thought Malton would have brought along some more intersting cars than they did. The sort of cars they brought are the type of Porsches that people not really into Porsches would look at maybe, 997s etc. I'd rather have had a poke around some older stuff.

All in all a good way to spend to a few hours on a sunny day.
