In the Boxster register section of the May issue of Porsche Post, a casual mention is made of "the yahoo Board". Anyone know which yahoo board they might be referring to? Is there an official Porsche Club GB message board on Yahoo! somewhere?

The full quote (pg 91) is: "One member has tabulated responses on our experiences with OPCs. Check out the yahoo Board for this, and add yours."

Ian.

Hi,

June issue was sent out in May. I'm waiting for the July issue, which should be this week, (end of June).

Also in the June issue, trackday page, is a picture of my car at Castle Combe.

Thanks. I actually e-mailed them yesterday and they said pretty much the same thing. They apologised for the missed June copy (which is now in the mail) and said the July copy would turn up next week.

Is it just me, or does Porsche Club GB come across as a little amateurish?

The *are* amateurs. Its a club after all. Everybody *responsible* for anything is an unpaid volunteer. I think the number of club employees (the only professionals) is about seven or something.

I've always had great service from the Club Office...

Keeping the head count low is one of the ways they are able to make such a healthly profit each year. How ealse do you think they would be able to buy property in the costwolds ;-)

Sounds like someone had the right idea, giving up work to chat about porsches, then all of a sudden - whoa - a lovely little country pad paid for by sub fees. Perfec.
