Good 'Driving' Roads between Southam and Taunton
Discussion
I've got a TVR Tuscan on hire for a week in mid November and i'm looking for some nice driving roads between Southam,Warwickshire and Taunton.
I'll be starting off in Southam and over the course of the week be working my way back down to Taunton with 1st port of call Cheltenham and from there looking to head to Bath the following day, after that i'm open to ideas on roads to explore and was wondering if anyone could advise on roads to take the car for a drive along.
As far as possible i'm looking to stay off motorways and dual carridge ways.

I think it must have been last year I took a scenic route back from Croyde to Rugby, via bath, but can't remember the route exactly. I seem to remember we came up to the A5, then turned off before we got to Bristol, it could have been the A368, but I'm not 100% sure. Then from Bath I went across to Chippenham and up the Fosse way.
One road that goes almost direct from Southam to Taunton is the A361.
One thing to bear in mind, but might not be a problem if you've got a week is that the roads tend to be quite slow, the roads and views are good though and have said that I'd like to return to that part of the world.
