Got hit for almost 20 bucks today for development of a 36 roll of Kodak 400. Only half of which were any cop (photos of photos to follow in the Fringe thread this weekend).

So it's about time I got my finger out and started playing around in my bathroom.

To which end, does anyone else develop their own film,B&W or colour, and do you have any preferences for developer, or fixer? (Or even stop if you use anything but water).

I do!

I get all my stuff from AG Photographic or Silverprint, only B&W for now, but once I'm confident enough with that process I'll try some colour. I use Aculux 3 Devloper and ilfostop and iflofix as well and tend to only shoot Kodak Tri-X 400 film. So far some very nice results and I think I have it down so its consistent every time now so I will try some push processing and other techniques soon.

Top 2 were taken with a Lubitel 166 on Tri-X 120 @ 400asa, The last with a Nikon F4 on Tri-X 35mm @400asa, all Dev'd in above chemicals at home.
