3R wheels

Hi all

If anyone has a set of original 3R wheels they'd be willing to sell, please could you let me know? Perhaps some of the Speedlines group buyers?

Need to be in excellent condition. Properly round ones with no cracks or corrosion would be a good start...

I have some odd spare tyres if you need to shoe them - Fronts: new Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and a part worn Pirelli Corsa (Driver side, with 4mm tread). Also a Rear Corsa with 3mm tread (driver side - 285/30/ZR 18). Anyone can e-mail me if interested.

Without wanting to jump on this bandwagon....

I really need a good condition rear in standard colour, still sporting it's genuine fake glued in Allen bolt heads if anyone has one!

Just want to say a big thanks to Mark C - top guy. His wheel is now in my possession.

I have a few spare somewhere in the shed from memory. They are in a mess cosmetically but were hardly used.

Mail me how much you are prepared to pay and if that works for me I'll have a go at digging them out.

the 3r/m400 rims are prone to cracking !

that is the main reason people are getting rid of them - what is wrong with yours ?

Mine have got a few little patches of sub-surface corrosion, some of which is in areas of the wheels that are recessed behind the plastic split rim 'bolts'. I don't want after market wheels - I like the original ones and I want to keep the 'bolt' effect.

So I can get them re-furbed and spend many happy hours glueing in some stainless hex bolts. But I thought I'd see if people had unwanted wheels that aren't cracked, bent, corroding or otherwise falling apart that they'd let go for less than the a re-furb would cost me. Ok, its a long shot, but nothing ventured...

Mine are very sound except for the beginings of corrosion on three of them, so I may just opt for the re-furb, and settle down with the bolts, the angle grinder and some glue. Like this:
