Cyclocross Tyres

It's been a good few years, ok more like 10+ from when I last rode cyclocross the tyres to have then were Michelin Muds for when it was muddy and the Sprints for when it was drier.
Just ordered myself a rather nice Cannondale CaadX, which comes with Schwalbe Sammy Slick, these look alot like the old Michelin Sprints, any recommendation for a tyre for when it's muddier and more chewed up, thank you.
Every autumn i've had the cross blues, it's the only form of bicycle racing I miss from when I was younger so at the age of 39 i'm making a return, vets next year!!

Tonight I found out that the Yorkshire CX series races twice over summer round a school field I can see out my back bedroom. So bloody annoying! Always fancied a go but that would have been the ideal push for me.
On topic slightly I have 35mm Continental CX speeds on my commuter and they do a CX mud for the slop. No complaints.
