I'm looking for more Information about the Voisin C31 Biscooter (Biscuter)

Does anybody know, where to get more pics and written details about this tiny citizen car?

(I don't mean the Spanish production cars by Autonacional, but Gabriel Voisin's own prototypes )

I didn't want to hurt his feelings, but that exactly what I thought.

Looks like the 8astard child of a 2CV and a golf cart!

You can see the family resemblance to his proper cars.

Have you tried the National Motor Museum, they have archives that cover not only British Cars.

Best of luck but don't try putting a V* in one.

It's actually made in 1951, the last Voisin made.

The predecessors were inter alia

the C6

and the C28 Aérosport.

The C31 is supposed to be an inspiration for the Mini:
quote:
Des ingénieurs anglais viennent examiner le Biscooter avant de créer la Mini.

I am looking for further information, because I have to make a report about outstanding resourceful design projects.

IMHO the Biscooter is outstanding, because it has no plastics at all and a bare alloy body weighing only 300kgs. Cheap to produce, no fat, no gadgets.
Aesthetics are avant-gardistic, though.

Despite the fact, that a Smart Crossblade is the current equation.
