Hi All,

Sadly damaged the tyre wall on the offside rear tyre, have loads of life in them so rather gutted!!! Has anyone got a pair of Michelin Pilot Sports N3 rears going in 295/30/18. She has volunteered to pay for new tyre, don't want to tell her they need to be changed in pairs.

Cheers

Sunil

I shouldn't think that you'd need to change the pair if the other one has good life left in it so long as it is the same type.

Hi,

Thanks for reply, remember its a turbo... Does that make a difference? Best price she got for a new on was just over £300 fitted. What's really annoying is that I had a super deal on them from Costco all 4 for £730 or there abouts.

If the other undamaged tyre has plenty of tread on it, then I'd be replacing the damaged one on it's own. Turbo or not, you do not need to replace them in pairs!

Well that's excellent news, also I don't want her paying for it to be honest.

Would be good if someone had a N3 going, I did notice an N2 in the classified section.

Check with Chris W at Exel wheels. He replaced my turbo N3's recently, and may have some left. Excellent price.

Hi,

Decided against Fleebay... So how did you get yours for 275??

Anyone else got any alternatives?? Porsche Tonbridge will do it for £320.

Cheers

Providing you replace it with the same make and rating, I don't think you need to change them in pairs. It certainly does not effect the opc warranty, since that's exactly what opc did with my Porsche turbo when one of the rears went the same way as the OPs. There maybe tire age related issue, but it you ring a good indy, tyre place and/or your favoured opc they should answer the question on pairs and age!

Hi Guys,

I did see the Camskill price, but then I need to get the thing fitted... I'm based in Croydon(Surrey) anyone know where I could get it fitted?

If only Costco were still doing their offer. frown

I also had £50 cashback from Michelin so made them even less but that deal has now finished.

Called ATS and said kwik fit offered me a deal at x and they said £275 I said great i'll have 2. Simples
