Power Gates is the company that installed the gates where I live. Seem ok ...

I think another company is Gate-O-Matic. May be worth giving them both a call.

Mac systems in northampton. they do all our gates. very good if you have posh stuff. there are cheaper but maybe not better

Would really like a sliding gate with nice wooden frontage.
Currently have working gates but they are playing up, probably need 2 new motors?
Mrs had a company out and they quoted over £10k, she said they were more interested in my car!

Next time you get a quote, may be a good idea to get a rough estimate over the phone first or else move your car round the corner. Don't give them any reason to quote you more than they otherwise would ...

c£8k total in 2006 for two electric hinged gates including gate piers - which will probably outlast the house !
