Good cycling day

Went out for the third time today on my new road bike from near Conwy to Lake Ogwen. It was one of those rides that reminds you of how enjoyable cycling is.

I was surprised what a difference the clothing you wear makes to your speed/effort required. Normally I wear baggy MTB shorts over my bib shorts, but today I just thought `f*** it` and left them at home. What a difference!

A bit of a rambling post but I feel great now and am so glad I got back into road cycling. Now I'm wondering if I can justify getting a GoPro to record some of my rides...

Why would you wear MTB shorts of your Bib shorts, simply do what I do and leave a carrot down your shorts on cold days....
