House + Bike Insurance

Sorry to bring this up YET again, but the search facility is as useful as a chocolate teapot..
Who are you guys with? - Currently with M+S, but it has gone up by £100 this year, despite no cliams, and a quick look around shows I could get house insurance elsewhere for roughly half the price, albeit without my bikes being covered...

So - on that note, who do you guys recommend?

HSBC do excellent insurance...

Not sure about bikes but I guess it depends on where its stored.

They need everything adding that above £1500 as a named item, they charged something like £5 a month extra for my Omega planet ocean (£3k to replace).

this was homes and contents only not buildings.

circa £170-200 a year now for £50,000 insurance and the watch named.

we do some good home policies, and can search pretty much every provider for you (and weed out the crap ones).
