Good places to get a canvas print and prep advice

Got a photo of a friend of mine who is a racing driver. He rather likes it and has asked if I can get a canvas done for him. Not interested in making any money on it, but would like to provide something that is well done.
The image is a crop, about 2700x1800 approx which is only around 5mp. So I know I'll be limited on size... it does have a decent level of post processing though (in the same vein as instagram but not instagram if you get me, but the long and short is its not supposed to be a tack sharp image so I hope that gives me some flex).
so has anyone got a) any tips for preparing an image for canvas style print, b) any good places to get such prints done and c) what size I'll realistically be able to produce (I read 20x30 inch would be about the max which is probably fine).

As for prep, it all really depends on the compression. The resolution of the image obviously matters but a 5mp image that has been compressed to 100kb wont enlarge half as well as a 5mp uncompressed image that's 3mb.
We print at 300dpi so if you imagine 300pixels per inch of printed paper, your image is actually the equivelant of a 9"x6" print. Thats actually pretty good.
As long as the file size is decent (atleast 1.5mb) I really wouldn't worry about the quality enlarging to a 20x30. I have done far smaller resolution images to the same before and they have been acceptable.
