Yes it was good, drove to work this morning when it was nice and quiet, got parked no bother, and then sat in the pub for the whole match. Nothing like a few to get you motivated for the day.

I think it depended on what time you set out...I deliberately set out at 7:10 knowing full well that I'd hit the M40 at around kick off. And whaddya know - it was completely empty. However, upon arriving at work several subordinates complained that the M1/M42 was "chokka" (sp ?) well before 7am.

More early matches please. And longer school holidays, so the roads are more like the good old days.
