Oakley glasses repair service

I've put this here as opposed to the lounge as I figured I'd get more sensible answers.

I've just stood on my Oakely e-wires - p****d off doesn't sum it up. I loathe to buy a new pair and understand Oakley offer a repair service - has anyone any experience of this as its my preferred option at the moment.

Pop in to any opticians that stock Oakleys and they should be able to help

I have used Oakley repair service a number of times and found them to be very good if a little slow mainly due to the glasses being sent to Poland or somewhere for repair


If they cannot repair they offer a discount off list price for a new pair

They will most likely give you a returns box to send to OAkley

Be aware, if the frames are bent Oakley will have a crack at straightening them but in all likelyhood they won't sit right again on your face (the bitter voice of personal experience speaketh).

As much as it sucks I recommend buying a new pair.

If you send them back, I think they offer 40% off RRP on a new pair.

Give them a call and explain what happened.

Thanks for the responses. I'll see what Oakley say about repair. I've never been that in love with them so a new pair after nearly 5 years won't hurt so much.

It was a case of them being on the stairs, going up the stairs and when walking back down not noticing them despite them being right to one side! My full weight, with shoes on meant it didn't end well. Just frame damage though.

I went to an Oakley dealer last week and apparently they dont issue the return box's anymore. Ive used the service 5 times now and would use again when needed.
