Croft HHC trackday

Hello all you TVR drivers. HHC have a limited number of places available for their next Croft trackday on Wednesday 19th of June. Priority given to TVR owners! Please contact Tony, Simon or Jill on 01434 601666 for further details.

To save anyone else ringing for the price... it is £185 plus VAT (£217.38) which seems a little high compared to the TVRCC track days at the same venue (£125).

I would add for comparison that you get a lot of track time due to the smaller number of cars allowed to attend, typically run in two groups with 20 minute sessions per group, refreshments and a buffet lunch, and the joy of factory involvment with various people sometimes including PRW attending. Also technical support to cope with any car problems and instruction from experienced circuit drivers is included. So not bad value when the whole package is looked at.

I must add though that the price is fully justified .. the food is worth that alone (it's yummy) so the track time is a bonus.

Can you maybe make folks aware of the Croft day a bit sooner next time, or add me to your mailing list? I'd definitely be there if I knew earlier, but by now I can't get out of meetings I have arranged.

I support the price tony is asking as there is more time on track than a TVRCC day and you get lunch. Plus ask nicely and im sure they will let you drive something other than your own?

yeah i really used to enjoy those track days. a bit of work, a bit of food, a bit of chatting to the owners and a bit of track time. pretty much what i do all the time now

Joolz, if you end up going you are always welcome to go for a blast in the cerb 4.5, be interesting to see what mods you and HHC can come up with to get a bit more power!
(you can never have enough). I will be in touch anyway at some point to discuss mods/products for the car.

no probs dan .. what about big brakes and nice stiff suspension for starters? have you read the reports about danny luhde-thomson's cerbie red rose with my current suspension set-up on. apparently it's quite good
