I will be attending. As a "newbie" how will I recognise you? Will you be wearing a pink carnation and have a copy of the times under your arm or be the guy throwing darts at Nissan news? smile

If you look at the Italian car and bike day at Hopetoun pics, I am the person in the Panama hat, yellow t shirt and aviators! I dress like that all the time, even in winter.

The other option is to ask the staff as we usually tell them who we are and to send people who look lost to us! That is how Ollie met us. He doesnt have a car, drive or indeed normally talk to humans!

Don't be put off. there is at least one normal person there ..........annually!

Alan
Happy to give the Freelander a final good by drive and pics. ? You could bring Alfie as your guide dog? I used to take a Westie everywhere. When anyone challenged me about it not being a guide dog. I did a Stevie Wonder impersonation and said ' What dog have they given me'? Works every time! Am sure he will love being the centre of attention. ( Alfie is a gorgeous 21week old retriever puppy, used by Alan to attract woman to him. He needs that help)

The ramshackle rally is a charity car rally me and 3 friends are doing, leave calais Thursday morning and head to Valencia in a 200 pound Audi 100 which we have turned into a highland cow. Should be a laugh! Will try and head up to the next 1, noble has hardly been out since I got it!

Sounds brilliant! Best of luck! Watch out for traffic cops around Calais, Keep to the speed limits. If over 40 or 50 km over limit is 1000euro fine and instant 28 day ban. Some people bring multiple copies of their license from DVLA which is illegal. So don't do it!!!!!! Just saying. DVLA keep mine in a steel box marked. Looney, never re issue' No idea why!
Lucky I have 10 copies of it! Allegedly!

Well then some 'woman' advice! I have always had a difficulty and problem with woman. The difficulty was they always threw themselves at me. The problem is they always missed!

I would use the guide dog ruse to get into the place Wear Stevie Wonder dark glasses! People will believe you are partially sited as you drive a Freelander, Alie could be a uide dog if he didnt stop to lick everyone! But he is Soooooooooooooooooooooo cute no one will mind. One day a woman will find you as attractive as Alfie! Ask your mum.
