I've decided to get my brother's old Mini back on the road (I asked here a while back if I was mad for trading in my golf for it, and the general consensus was that I was bonkers , but it turns out my mum needs a car and the golf suits her needs), and I want to put some decent racing buckets in it. Thing is I want to try a load of different ones out before I decide which to buy, but I can't find anywhere in the midlands that has a good selection (of different manufacturers) in stock. I was hoping someone on this board might know of a stockist (or perhaps a few) in the midlands (preferably near Leamington Spa or Oxford would be good too).

I was also wondering if anyone has any advice as to which seats to consider/avoid - I don't want to spend more than £120 a seat, and would like quite a wide seat (I'm 6'3" and 17 stone, so I need the width ), with provisions for using a 3 point harness.

Cheers,

Fatboy

I had a pair of Corbeau seats fitted in my Mini when I had it. The seats are made in Hastings and their online catalog can be seen at :-

www.corbeau-seats.co.uk/

They have waist sizes but I know that they do make larger seats for those less thinner individuals!

If you want to get some proper seat sub-frames then Mini Sport pretty much stock everything you could possibly imagine! They are at :-

www.minisport.com/

I hope this helps!
