Can anyone with the light design package on their 981 give me a bit of info on it?

It looks like it has a bit *more* lighting, but does it operate any differently from the standard lighting?

I've had a demo of the car but not at night and clear info about this option wasn't really forthcoming.

Cheers,

S

I have light design package ..

You can adjust its brightness separately.

Thanks, SFO. Is that it?

Is there any difference when driving? I don't know what the standard car has but assume all lighting is off when driving. Does the light package have any lights when on the move?

(My BMW has the dimmest of dim lighting in the cabin when on the move and I like it. Incredibly subtle and you hardly notice, but sometimes it's useful not having pitch black in the cabin. I live in the country BTW.)

Is there any lighting when on the move? Or just when stationary?

LDP is on when driving when exterior lights are on.

There's a thin strip of lights around the center bit at the top of the windscreen, lights in the footweels, and light just above the door storage pockets; all white lighting.

Yes as above and adjustable in brightness as previously suggested.

Don't think I've used it in pitch black yet!

For me, yes.

It provides ambience and highlight to my red interior .. especially lovely roof down at night, on a pitch dark country road.
